Job Description:
Our client is a leading hospitality group based in Dubai are looking for a creative French pastry head chef for their team:
Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall operations of the Pastry department
- Create new and exciting French desserts to renew the menus and engage the interest of customers
- Prepare a variety of French baked goods
- Train & develop the pastry team to maintain solid skills, consistency & quality
- Follow kitchen policies, HACCP procedures and service standards;
- ensure cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as Pastry Chef, baker or relevant role
- Approaches pastry in a creative way
- Strong supervisory skills
- A current, valid, and relevant trade qualification (proof may be required)
- Positive attitude
- Willing to travel for projects within GCC
