Job Description:

Our client is a leading hospitality group based in Dubai are looking for a creative French pastry head chef for their team:

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the overall operations of the Pastry department
  • Create new and exciting French desserts to renew the menus and engage the interest of customers
  • Prepare a variety of French baked goods
  • Train & develop the pastry team to maintain solid skills, consistency & quality
  • Follow kitchen policies, HACCP procedures and service standards;
  • ensure cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as Pastry Chef, baker or relevant role
  • Approaches pastry in a creative way
  • Strong supervisory skills
  • A current, valid, and relevant trade qualification (proof may be required)
  • Positive attitude
  • Willing to travel for projects within GCC
